The TDF 2014, just amazing race with a great victory from Nibali and his team..This is was a tough TDF,not the one of 2012 with only few easy climbing stages.We can all talk about numbers and everything else..but He deserved it.He won all 3 by the way...so i think speculations can stop...

During the month of July, I have attended a cycling race in Belgium in the Walloon area not far from Brussels,it was an amazing experience and racing here was speechless...Long rolling hills,small villages,sharp steep climbs,cobbles,white road, great beer and amazing food.
I stayed at stunning "B&B L'Happeautine" where the landlords were really friendly and providing me great local products for breakfast.The surroundings of the B&B were peaceful,creating unreal silence..

A bit of history in the Apennines,Italy

Italy was my next stop for this month..and it was just a proper occasion to get SaddleDrunk in the Apennines..the weather was a bit silly at times, like rain at the start of the ride and 40C temperature.
It was an occasion to catch with friends and mainly to put some descent climbs in the legs.To all of you out there,i suggest you spend some times in the area cycling. You do not have to go to the Alps.The choice is wider and quiter.
